Quarterback has taken the breed by storm. We were fortunate to purchase some semen on this sire
and utilize him in our ET program. His semen now commands over $1,000/unit. Our favorite
thing about 789 is his extra length of body. We feel the easiest way to add weight is to add
PIE QUARTERBACK 789 length. It doesn’t hurt that he’s also a calving ease sire who will add frame and performance
as well. His dam, the great Ruby 520, is as prepotent of a Red Angus cow as there is in the
industry.

Fundamental is quickly becoming one of our favorite sires to use AI. He transmits all the same
great qualities of his sire Seneca, while adding a bit more frame, calving ease, and marbling
to his progeny. Of course, it also doesn’t hurt to have the 4167 cow as his dam. She was the
RREDS FUNDAMENTAL 8818 top donor at Rhodes for many years. The daughters out of Fundamental have us very excited.
We’re going to aggressively use this sire going forward as we believe he has been criminally
underutilized to this point.

The staple of consistency. We continue to use Seneca through AI because his progeny just plain
get it done. His females are the deep bodied, easy fleshing cows we covet and his sons are
structurally correct and high performing. He will go down in history as one of the great sires of
RREDS SENECA 731C the breed.
