Welcomeelcome
W
With a common sense approach, we have been able to blend all
of these traits together to produce quiet, structural sound cattle,
who also have calving ease, above average growth and top quality
carcass traits to assist every commercial cattlemen in the industry
in developing their own set of top shelf effi cient females who calve
on their own, work for you, and wean off a big healthy calf each
fall, who continue to grow and bring extra dividends when they go
to the rail.
This year, the sale bulls were sent to Kansas to be developed at
our new cooperator Young Red Angus. The bulls spent the fi rst 75
days being developed on a cover crop mixture of triticale, rye, and
turnips, and boy did they do well! Once adjusted to the cover crop
this set of bulls was gaining as much as 3.75 lbs per day! For the
last the 75 days the bulls were brought into a large pen and fed a
silage ration designed to develop bulls to ensure they are in good
breeding condition come spring. As always, sticking to our motto
and philosophy of low input cattle we can ensure you these bulls
will not be excess in their condition and have been developed to
be able to go to work for you, breeding your cattle, continuing to
grow and will hold up in any environment.
As you make your plans for the coming breeding season come
take a look at our offering, and come look at the cowherd that is
behind them, we believe you will like what you see.
Thanks for your interest and support of Kravig Red Angus,
Aaron Kravig
