Those who like to stack important cows in the pedigrees of the bulls
they buy will appreciate Triple Threat, who leads off an impressive
sire group of Tesla sons. His dam is a 110 MPPA daughter of Merlin
T179 who is known for siring excellent feet and structure. Tesla’s 104
MPPA dam produced 16 natural and ET calves by her 13th birthday,
and has two other sons selling as lots 54 & 55. With 11 traits in the
top 25% of the breed 351F is capable of adding profi t at each segment of the beef Lot 3

We purchased this bull’s dam from our friends the Mehlhoff family
at 5L as a heifer calf, and she fi t right in weaning her 4th calf as a
5-year-old and earning a 106 MPPA in the process. Zero Hour justifi es
his elite HerdBuilder & GridMaster ranks by spreading a best 3% CED
to a top 10% ADG EPD. He also covers economically relevant traits of
improving cow productive lifespan, daughters unassisted calving and
carcass value with top 1/3 ranks for CEM, STAY, MARB and REA. Lot 4

Most of our customers run multi-sire pastures, and turning out half
brothers with similar EPD profi les is one way to ensure not just a
uniform calf crop to market, but perhaps more importantly a uniform
set of replacements that develop into a uniform cow herd. Just like
his brothers before, and several still to come, LJC Faraday 538F offers
excellent calving ease with triple-digit growth and places positive
selection pressure on the traits that determine both reproductive success and Lot 5
        post-weaning profi tability.
