40 head of May/June born heifers, selling in “gate-cut” sorts of 10;
the winning bidder will have the option of “rolling” subsequent and
consecutive 10 head sorts.
If you are a regular at the sale, you have seen the Shaw family make investments
in high quality genetics. They have been purchasing top end Croissant Red Angus
bulls for 15 years and are a Top Dollar Angus qualifi ed herd. This is the fi rst year
the Shaw Ranch has consigned heifers to the sale.

The Shaw heifers will be a great addition to a summer or fall calving program. They
bring quality from top to bottom, raised to last in tough range conditions. Their
bulls purchased are packed for performance averaging in the top 7th percentile in
HB, top 15% in GM, and growth traits in the top 1/3. The bulls add calving ease for
the sleep at night program averaging in the top 11%.

These heifers will weigh approximately 650# at sale time. They have been bangs
vaccinated, will need pre-breeding vaccinations. These heifers remained on the
ranch, being developed on the range.
