2017 – Red Hill Farms Angus Bulls
Red Hill Angus Bulls
We are presenting American Simmental Association (ASA) EPDs on our Angus bulls for the con-
venience of our customers for comparing these Angus bulls with our Red Angus and SimAngus
bulls. You can directly compare the growth and carcass EPDs across all three breeds (without
adjustment) when using these ASA EPDs for the Angus bulls. At the bottom of this page, we
have included the American Angus Association (AAA) registration numbers and EPDs for these
Angus bulls. If you are a Kentucky or Tennessee producer with cost-share money available, you
must use the AAA EPDs on these Angus bulls for that program.

42D, 54D and 40D are the result of fl ushing our outstanding donor, 765, to Sitz Dash. 765 has been our most fescue
adaptable black Angus cow. She is an unusually slick haired, easy fl eshing cow with a picture perfect udder. We fl ushed
her to Dash because of his outstanding maternal values for heifer pregnancy and calving ease maternal along with his
positive $E and high ranking for $W. 42D is the moderate one of these bulls with excellent rib shape and center body
width along with excellent feet and leg structure. 54D and 40D are larger framed bulls. Even though these are fl ush mates,
the EPDs are different because of carcass ultrasound differences and genomically enhanced EPDs.
