P. 3
WELCOME
Welcome to the 20th Annual Croissant Red Angus bull sale. We can not believe that it has been twenty
years since our first on-ranch bull sale. In that time, we have seen cattle and feed prices change, drought
and wet years; however, through all the ups and downs our commitment to provide profi table genetics
to our customers is unwavering. This year’s offering of 85 bulls continue that commitment. You will fi nd
bulls that will sire offspring that will grow with less inputs, provide more calves, less opens, and improve
traits important after calves leave the ranch gates.
We strive to provide genetics that will work in a multitude of environments and management systems to
create a return on investment for the genetics; this is being accomplished and we see the results in sale
prices and cowherds that we visit. This summer we saw similar trends as last year with Croissant Red
Angus sired calves going beyond their contemporaries. We are continuing the effort to help our custom-
ers when they market calves. We work with a network of contacts to help assist in the sale of your cattle
when they go to market and work with Top Dollar Angus. As a commitment to your success Croissant
Red Angus will pay the enrollment fee for those who qualify. Reach out to Kevin as market time comes
around and see what Croissant Red Angus can do to help.
We have worked with the Sorensen family since 2015. This year they have brought another outstanding
set of bulls. The bulls keep getting better each year and we are proud to work with such a wonderful
family. We would also like to thank all of our friends and neighbors that help at sale and throughout the
year, without you none of this would be possible. THANK YOU!
This year we are honored to introduce a new member to the team. Lynn Robinson, a Texas Tech graduate
from Houston, TX came to us in August and is learning the ropes fast. We look forward to many years
to come with Lynn. Yes, Lynn has adapted to the cold; she is quite the trooper. Earlier this year we said
goodbye to Austin and Jael. They decided to move on to pursue their next career move. We really appreci-
ate all their hard work and wish them well.
We look forward to seeing you in person on March 28th at the sale. If you are unable to join us in
person, there are other ways to be a part of the sale, DVAuction, sale day phones, or absentee bidding.
Visitors are always welcome; stop by before the sale to have more individual time to look at the bulls. If
you have any questions please feel free to contact us, we are always here to help.
Sincerely,
Larry, Jean, Sallie, Kevin, and Alisa
The Croissant Red Angus family
