Welcome
Welcome Cattlemen & Women,
We would like to start off by saying
thank you for showing interest in our
program. We are very excited to
showcase our genetics in the annual
production sale here at Diamond
C ND. We have met so many won-
derful cattlemen and woman in the
past three years as we have selected
the best genetics from Red Angus
producers all across the Midwest. We
have been able to start our herd with
what we feel are some of the most
exciting genetics in the industry.
Tiffany and I have been married for
9-1/2 years. We both were born and
raised in Cavalier, ND, and currently
still live here where we are raising
our three children; our daughter
Colbie (11), middle son Cain (6) and our youngest boy Cole (4). Besides raising
cattle, Tiffany and I both farm together along side of her father. We currently live on
her family’s farm. We grow wheat, edible beans, soybeans, sugar beets, corn and
sunflowers.
Bull calves were weaned the middle of September and have been on a
high-roughage ration of corn silage, alfalfa, grass hay, corn, DDG and range min-
eral, 12:6 XPC Availa 4 R1600. We aim for a daily gain of 3 lbs. per day to ensure
the calves grow and develop correctly. Heifers were weaned at the same time
and are on a ration with the same ingredients as the bulls but modified down to
achieve a 1-3/4 lb per day gain.
Our goal here at Diamond C ND, is to develop real-world working stock with power,
performance and style. Whether you’re looking for something red or black, some-
thing to add some frame into your herd, or maybe to moderate and add some
muscle, or maybe you are looking for something with a unique outcross twist, we
feel that our offering has something for everyone’s interest.
Thank you for your interest in our program. Feel free to stop in for a visit and to view
the bulls and heifers at any time. See you at the sale!
Sincerely,
The Furstenaus
