Angus Friends,
It’s that time of the year again, and all of us at Hoyt’s Angus hope to fi nd all of you in good health and good spirits!
With the excessive rain in the fall of 2019 and the early October snowstorm, there were many challenges getting
the bulls weaned and on feed. Despite the adversities, the group of bulls still gained above our expectations and
have come along very well. When the calendar turned over in 2020, we were all hit with another unexpected kick
in the butt with COVID-19. Because all the uncertainties that came with the coronavirus, we decided for the safety
of our customers to push the sale date to May 20th. If you would like to preview the bulls on video, you can go to

www.dvauction.com.
We invite you and your family to our 33rd annual bull sale. We are taking every precaution to continue with as
normal of a sale as possible. The bulls will be penned in smaller groups outside with room for our customers to
view them safely. A complimentary bag supper will be served starting at 5 p.m.. The sale will start at 6 p.m. with

extra seating space for everyone.
If anyone wishes to view the bulls prior to sale day, give us a call and you can come to the ranch. If you cannot
make the sale day, we offer confi dential phone bids or you can contact Vern Frey at 701-721-0344
or Kirby Goettsch at 605-380-3939 any time prior to the sale day or on sale day.
The sale will be broadcast on www.dvauction.com on sale day, May 20th at 6 p.m.

Our offering consists of our herd sires including: the two brothers, Circle A
Payweight 5061 and Circle A Payweight 5148, SD Ten Speed 5700W, Ankonian
Waylon 0124, Mogck Sure Shot 284 and EB Recharge 0230. We also have several
AI sires that include: Jindra Acclaim, S Cornerstone 607, Tex Play Book 5437,
Werner Flat Top 4136 and Quaker Hill Rampage 0A36. Most of the AI offering are
recommended for heifers. The offering has been fed a high-roughage ration of
silage, corn, chopped alfalfa, mineral and protein concentrate designed by J & R
Feeds to encourage growth and muscle development while cutting back excessive

fat, as well as ensuring longevity.
