Where do you want to go and what do you want to do? Do you want to
join your spouse ranching, saddle up and go on a trail ride by yourself,
compete at a fun show, ride through the mountains to see the beautiful
scenery, watch your kids fall in love with horses while becoming better
riders who have more confi dence, or do you just simply enjoy being on
the back of a horse two to four times a year? Whatever your scenario, Buff
will take you there! Buff stands 14.2 HH tall and weighs 1100 lbs. He is
the perfect size! Not too big to be intimidating but big enough and strong
enough to carry you through a day of fun or work! He is a gem who will
give you confi dence to go further or try more, he will help you remember
why you fell in love with horses in the fi rst place! There is no need to ride
Buff every day, week or even month. He will be the exact same honest,
broke horse every time you swing your leg over him. He has been there
and done that, new things don’t scare him! Loud noises, animals jumping
out from the trail, motor vehicles, ATVs, absolutely nothing bothers him!
He rides in a shank, snaffl e, halter or whatever you can fi nd to tie around his neck. If you have problems mounting or
have little ones just learning – no problem! Buff will stand next to anything – fence, hay bales, truck, trailer or mounting
block for you to get on. He doesn’t mind the process of little ones learning how to get on either – you can crawl all
over him! Buff rides off with a loose rein and can be directed by direct rein or leg pressure. If asked, he will open and
close any gate, trots out on a nice, loose rein and lopes off in both directions in the correct lead. Buff has many outside
miles in the wide-open spaces, through the thick of the trails and through the rough terrain of the mountains. He is very sure footed and does not hesitate
through water crossings or other obstacles you may encounter. If you have ranch work that needs to be done, Buff can help! He performs every ranch
duty that needs done including pasture roping, doctoring, branding and moving cattle from pen to pen. Bareback, saddled, single or double, Buff doesn’t
care! You can ride him whatever way you choose! Buff is a great teacher and his will-do attitude is the perfect combination for little cowpokes learning
how to ride. He is one that you can have the confi dence to turn your back on knowing they will be fi ne. You can walk right up to him in the pasture and
catch him where he stands, he stands tied for hours, he ground ties, stands good to be saddled, takes the bit willingly and easily, he is good in a stall or
outside pen, good with a herd of other horses and he loads and unloads like a champ. He also has quite the personality – there isn’t a Girl Scout cookie
he will turn down! No matter if you are young or old, this is your fi rst horse or your last horse, the memories will be plentiful and the moments will be
