Copenhagen is a new A.I. sire in our lineup with his progeny born this spring being the fi rst we have
RED MINBURN COPENHAGEN 3Y had. We found progeny of this bull at the U2 ranch in Canada four years ago while touring through their
pastures viewing cattle. His daughters impressed us as to their type and kind that we like to a point that
every cow we asked Joanne Unger what she was out of it would end up being a Copenhagen daughter. We viewed Copenhagen as
an 8-year-old bull and found him to be very sound and holding his condition. When U2 dispersed last year, everyone else found the
Copenhagen daughters as well and they were one of the highest selling sire groups in a record-setting sale.

Fusion 5202 is a bull that Leland Red Angus selected out of our 2016 sale. He has been
MLK CRK FUSION 5202 a good calving-ease bull for them and has provided both bulls and heifers that have been
well received by their customers. His dam sells as lot 9 in the sale and at 11 years of
age, she still has as good of feet and udder as they get. We used this sire on many of our yearling
heifers this spring.

We used 6013 A.I. on both heifers and cows and then used him naturally on 52 2-year-old heifers
RIDGE PROVISION 6013 where he held his fl esh well and had only three open cows in his group. By using this bull hard
we have recorded 65 progeny this past year and 66 progeny the previous year which allows us to
determine his genetic merit within our herd. We are about to start calving his fi rst daughters and
they look to be the right kind of heifers.
