Greetings from the Schriefers and welcome to our 2021 production sale!

We’d like to start out with a very heartfelt thanks to the Wasem family and the Pavlenko family for
allowing us to join forces with them in a combined bull/seedstock marketing endeavor! We would
also like to thank our past, present and future customers for your continued support and interest in
our program. Many of you have become trusted and respected friends! We hope that you will fi nd
satisfaction and opportunities in this new marketing venture.

At the Schriefer Ranch, we are still striving to produce seedstock and feeder cattle that are right
for our industry, right for our environment and acceptable by our consumers. We have our largest
offering of 2-year-old bulls and open heifers that combine moderate birthweights, tremendous performance and
ff i
long-term sustainability! We base our success on our clients’ success as well as our own feeder calves. This past year,
we shipped our steers with Wasem’s, Huber EY Ranch’s, and long-time customer Dean Knutson’s steers to Darr Feedyard
in Nebraska, where they graded 96% Choice or Prime on the entire group.

We still use the technologies available to accompany our phenotypic style of our cattle. Genomic (DNA) testing,
ultrasounding and accurate weights and measurements are used and will continue to be used. We have many bulls that
qualifi ed for the Top Dollar Angus program.

As always, our 2-year-old bulls have passed a breeding soundness exam before the sale and the open heifers have been vet
checked open and breedable. We will continue to offer $100 cash rebate per 2-year-old bull if you haul your purchase home on

Greetings from our operation to yours.

We can all agree that 2020 was a roller coaster of a year, but one positive to come from it is this set of bulls. We
believe that from top to bottom this is the best set of bulls we have raised. We would proudly use any of these
bulls in our commercial herd.

All of the black bulls have been DNA tested through the American Simmental Association. Each of the bulls’ results are in their footnotes. If you are unfamiliar
with what the difference is the simplest way to explain it is a Homozygous Black bull will throw all black-hided calves no matter if it is bred to black or red cow,
while a heterozygous black bull may throw a few red calves when mated to black cows depending on the cow’s background.

The bulls were weaned the 28th of September and were started on a blend of high-quality chopped hay consisting of homegrown grass hay, alfalfa, oat hay,
barley hay and teff grass. They were also bucket fed 10 pounds of a corn-based bull developer ration from Steffan Feeds, along with free choice to MLS tubs.
We don’t believe in pushing our bulls because we don’t want them overly fat, we do this, so they don’t fall apart once our customers turn them out. We have fed
our bulls this way for the last three years and have had great feedback from our customers. We will take the bulls home and continue developing them until early
April. Once they pass a breeding soundness exam, we will deliver them free of cost.

All Pavlenko bulls sold sale day come with a fi rst-breeding season guarantee, meaning if an uncontrollable problem comes up with a bull, Pavlenko Simmentals
needs to know immediately and will either give you a replacement bull worth equal or greater value, give you sale credit, or return your money. The fi rst-year
breeding guarantee ends Sept. 1, 2021. The guarantee will be voided if injury or death is caused from mismanagement of the buyer.

Pavlenko Simmentals is selling full possession of all the bulls but is retaining 1/3 semen interest on all bulls (unless previously discussed). Pavlenko Simmentals
is reserving the right to collect semen on any of the sale bulls for in-herd use. This will be done at our expense and the buyer’s convenience.
