Welcome
Huber EY Red Angus Welcome to our 2021 sale. Thanks to our supporters for believing if our program. Our focus
Bryan & Emmy, Issac, Alex & Betsy Huber remains the same, to produce balanced traits that work for not only ourselves but our cus-
5866 76th Ave SE • Jud, ND 58454 tomers as well. Growth, positive carcass traits, mothering abilities, docility and foot structure
Home: (701) 685-2687 are at the top of our list.
Bryan: (701) 320-8054 • Emmy: (701) 320-1995
We feed everything here at the ranch and use a TMR wagon allowing us to manage a higher
roughage ration. The rations consist of alfalfa, slough hay, upland hay, hay barley, corn
silage, modifi ed DGR, corn and a mineral supplement. Our goal is for a 3 lb. ADG.
Last summer we DNA’d our registered herd using the Red Cow Rally program. This means
they have been tested for genetic and parent assessment to insure the most accurate EPDs on
all progeny.
The bulls have all passed their fi rst semen exam by Dr. Galbreath, Edgeley Vet Service on
March 24. They have received pre-breeding, foot rot and pink eye vaccines. We do recom-
mend having them tested again before turn-out.
We look forward to working with new customers and will stand by the cattle we raise. Visitors
welcome anytime.
God Bless,
The Hubers
Hello and welcome to our annual production sale.
Crosshair Simmental
Ben & Cassie Kleppe We fi rst want to thank our past buyers for their confi dence and support of our program, we
Brinley, Hailey, Jaxson, are grateful for the support and friends we have made being in this business.
Colton & Jace The bulls have been fed a complete mixed ration consisting of chopped hay, silage, corn,
3220 48th St SE distillers and a complete mineral program. The average daily gain test started the day of
Dawson, ND 58428 weaning on October 10th and continued for 137 days. We take pride in representing our cattle
Home: 701-327-8330 honestly, absolutely no “fl uffed” numbers or information. We believe in trying to breed the
Cell: 701-426-9210 most balanced and functional cattle possible. We do not chase any individual trait. We will not
sacrifi ce feet, udders or disposition to chase any one particular trait. All the bulls are semen
and soundness evaluated and are ready to go to work for you.
We are excited for you to see the bulls, as this is a solid set from end to end that we offer
for you to appraise. They are bred to grow and fed to last in anyone’s program. This year we
again are offering a few more black bulls. By utilizing embryo transfer and artifi cial insemina-
tion we are hoping to bring some high-quality black genetics for our customers that utilize
both black and red genetics.
We would like to invite you to take the evening off and join us on April 30, 2021, at 5 p.m. at
Napoleon Livestock. If you are unable to attend the sale we encourage you to view the bulls
at the ranch any time before the sale, or give us a call. We also have Steve Engel available to
be another eye for anyone who can’t make it to the sale. He has been through the bulls and
has a good eye for cattle. You can reach him at 605-845-4915 and we can help select a bull to
fi t your needs and program.
This year we have videos of the offering available online on DVAuction or our website
crosshairsimmental.com. We hope to see you at the sale and see for yourself how a bull from
CHSR can add pounds to your calf crop and improve your profi tability.
Thank you for your interest and support.
Ben, Cassie, Brinley, Hailey, Jaxson, Jace and Colton Kleppe
