ability to turn out full brothers into your cow herds.
We have been doing a lot this year so far. It has been hard getting back into the routine of going back to
school and having to wear masks. However, we got through it, and I am going to tell you all about our family.
Kyah is going to be the fi rst I am going to talk about. She is 4 right now and is getting to be so grown up.
She also loves playing with the dog, and the cats. Not only does she love playing with the dog and cats, she
also really enjoys going out with us when we bottle feed calves. She likes to help with holding the bottle or
giving them pellets in their buckets. Another thing she likes to do is play with her older sisters. But she has a
real connection with her two brothers.
Brock will turn 7 on July 7th. He just started his fi rst year of school last year, and now it is coming to an
end. It has been kind of a weird year, so he hasn’t had the normal experience, but he really has liked it. When
he has been at home though he always wants to help his dad. Whether it be opening gates or driving a trac-
tor he really wants to do it. Probably more of driving the tractor since it is warmer. He also enjoys planning what Grandma Irene and he need to do on the
farm for the summer.
Hudson is 9 and he is going to turn 10 on August 11th. He is just about done with 3rd grade and is really excited to stay home and help out. He was not
in any sports this year, but really enjoyed open gym on Weds at school. I think it was the fact he got to stay at Grandma Irene’s overnight. He enjoys being
outside whether its helping dad feed, playing with the cats, and dogs, or just exploring and climbing things (being a monkey).
Reagen is 11 years old and is going to turn 12 on September 2nd. Reagen is in Junior high Volleyball right now and likes to practice with me, her older sister
Elodie. She enjoys feeding her two bottle calves Tank and Thor and is hoping to show one of them this summer. Whatever that girl sets her sights on she is
deeply passionate about, one of the many things I love about her.
The last kid I am going to talk about is Elodie (which is me). I am 12 years old and about to turn 13 on May 30th. I just fi nished with livestock judging, and
now am doing drama. I am also in the NDJRA (North Dakota Junior Red Angus) and have a position of princess and historian. I also help dad out with feed-
ing and driving the tractor on the weekends when I am home, but let me be honest, I do not love it, and mom likes to remind me I am not home as much as
she would like.
Thank you for your support in our programs,
