9 SALLEE’S ROSE
Molly Blonde Light Sorrel Grade, Not Registered
15.2 HH Age: 8
Rose is a 15.2 hand, 8-year-old, really pretty blonde light sorrel molly
mule. She is really friendly and easy to catch. We have used her two
seasons in our wilderness camps north of Yellowstone Park. Rose was
used to work cattle on a ranch and sale yard before we bought her. Now
she has been exposed to bison, wolves, coyotes, grizzly bears, elk, deer,
and grouse. She has always been naturally gentle and sweet to handle. She
is easy to saddle, bridle, and load in a trailer. She has been shod twice a
summer and does well. Rose likes having her ears scratched and getting
a treat. She has a nice handle and will cross logs, bridges, and water. She
has a good wither and has been ridden with both a crupper and a britchen.
She is patient and has been tied or hobbled for long periods in summer
or while hunting. She stands to get on and off and rides willingly in the
mountains and on the trails. Rose has also been packed a bunch and will
carry odd loads or lead well anywhere in the string. She has also led the
string. She has a nice neck rein and stop. She is easy to worm and vacci-
nate and is current on equvalan ivermection wormer and EWT/Flu/Rhino
vaccinations. Rose is a really nice-natured mule with a good attitude and a
lot of experience. For more info, Scott or Sandy Sallee, Emigrant, Montana
