Amigo = Friendly, Honest, and Loyal! A big personality, with a unique
physical characteristic, a split on his left ear. He is the kind of mule that
makes you smile every time you look at him. He will be at your heels
and ready to be caught the moment you walk into the pasture. He has
all the ground manners of a perfect gentleman. This is a bonding type of
mule, when you buy him, you are getting more than just a new mule you
are gaining a new best friend. Amigo wants nothing more than to be by
your side or under your seat. His preference is to hang with his people
instead of his herd. He is always ready to roll on any new adventure with
an over-the-top willingness to please. He is cool and collected and rolls
with the adventure. Amigo has taken easily to an array of new experiences,
like fresh elk hides, animal scent for trapping and the clanging of traps he
has carried. Amigo is light and soft in the arena. He has all the moves and
is willing to rope and pull a steer. All Petersen Mule Company mules are
purchased with the option of a free three-day clinic at our facility to ensure
a successful transition to their new rider. Each mule we bring to Chrome In The Canyon Premier Mule Sale has been screened and carefully chosen for
this select sale. Each of our mules have logged countless trail miles and arena hours. They are professionals in our obstacle course; they each lay down
on cue. They have spent time pulling a pack string and have each been packed. They all cross water, downfall, bridges, drag logs, you can stand on their

6 SMOKEY

14.3 HH Age: 6
Smokey is a 6-year-old, bay john mule that stands 14.3 Hands. Smokey is
very quiet and gentle. He was started and trained right here at home. He
has never had any bad habits, is always easy to catch and loves people.
He’s out of a fox trotter mare which gives Smokey a very nice gait, so here
is a rare opportunity. I don’t spend much time trying to get one to gait
and this comes natural to him. He has been ridden by an older gentleman
previously for two years, but he had to sell him because of a back surgery.
This is a fancy mule with a clean record and purchased from the man that
