Roper is a one-of-a-kind gelding with excellent disposition
that we raised. He stands 15 hands tall, is very stout, and has
a gorgeous mane and tail to complement his confi rmation. I
personally broke him to ride as a 3-year-old and have been
using him ever since. Roper rides around with a loose rein, is soft in his
sides, and easy to maneuver. He is levelheaded and stays cool under pressure. He does not get fresh and has never offered to buck, he is one that
you can turn your back on and not worry about. Roper has been ridden on many trail rides by novice riders and takes great care of his passenger.
He has been hauled on overnight camping trips and he has seen many miles in every type of country imaginable. Roper is a gentleman that is willing
and excels at everything that you put in front of him. I have used Roper for all various types of ranch chores including sorting, pasture roping, and
gathering horses and cattle. He’s ready to work day or night. Roper is also a really neat head horse and I’ve also heeled on him. I had him to Arizona
all winter roping and he is making a good one. He should fi t all different caliber of ropers as he will only give what he is asked. This horse has speed,
rate, control, and a strong fi nish. He will let you run close or stay wide through the run, has a cool stride, and is so easy to rope on. Roper doesn’t
get fl ustered, and you can run multiple steers on him. This horse has a slow collected lope, smooth turnaround, and pretty stop. He has been a fa-
vorite around our place, and it will be hard to see him go but we look forward to someone enjoying as much as we have. Roper is easy to shoe, clip,
bathe, haul, and is great with other horses. I literally can’t think of one bad thing to say about this gelding, and he is gorgeous to boot! No matter if
you are young or old, this is your fi rst or last horse, Roper will be your guy. Up to date on worming, dental, farrier, and has a negative coggins. He
sells sound with absolutely no vices. Joel Meyer • 563-599-3755
