Waugh Livestock is proud to offer Buckminster Legends. Buck
is a registered AQHA dun gelding standing a stout 14.3 hands.
This 2012 gelding is sired by Dun N Legends that goes back to Doc’s Hickory and out
of a Dans King Chex mare. Buck is a true all-around ranch horse. He has three smooth
gaits that are comfortable to ride all day long. He is very responsive to the aids, light off the leg and
seat, and has an excellent handle. He’s been used in all aspects of ranch work. He is also a standout
at the ranch horse shows. He is fancy and easily noticed in ranch pleasure. He has a distinct differ-
ence in his fast and slow circles along with fl ying lead changes for reining and other pattern classes.
Buck is also great on cattle. He is quick and athletic for ranch cutting, boxing, herdwork and sorting.
Looking to do western dressage or working equitation? He rides in the bridle on contact, smooth
transitions, and nice lateral movement. Buck enjoys going out for a relaxing trail ride. He rides well
in a group or out by himself. He’s seen a lot of big country and is safe and sure footed on the trails. He crosses any obstacle
you come across willingly. Buck is an excellent traveler. He loads and hauls easily. He’s camped overnight on the high line
as well as in a stall or outdoor pen. Buck has a great, people loving personality and aims to please his rider no matter what
