Oak is a stunning 15.2HH cherry sorrel gelding with four white feet,
a big bold blaze face, and roan hairs all through his barrel, fl ank,
and hip. The only way you can make this horse better to look at is to
get him in motion. Oak absolutely moves gorgeous with big strong
strides that hit the ground soft and just fl oat! He is by an own son
of AQHA Champion sire Oak Tree Special, earner of $682,470. If gentle and safe
are your priorities than put Oak at the top of the list! He’s the absolute picture of
kind, willing, and gentle. We have used Oak for the last several years as a ranch
horse. He’s seasoned in every aspect of ranch work. He has had plenty of sick
cattle roped on him in the feed yard, as well as doctored tons of wheat cattle. Oak
is stout to the horn and has drug many calves to the branding fi re. A good friend
of ours has also used Oak as a helper horse to heel on. Oaks also been hauled on
some overnight camping trips. He’s the horse you put the beginners on when you
go on that family trail ride! He crosses water and obstacles with ease, and doesn’t
mind going out alone or with a big group. He is a ride you will enjoy all day long!
When you step on this big beautiful individual he is so broke and super simple to
ride. Put your hand down and lay your leg. He has an easy lead departure both directions and a soft round lope with a low headset. When you breathe the word “whoa”
Oaks stop is big and deep. He has fun easy spins that anyone can ride. Yields off your leg either way and is so incredibly soft in his sides and mouth. This is a very versa-
tile gelding that’s safe for ANY level or age rider, and one that can take all the time off you want to give him. No matter how often you do or don’t ride him he will truly be
