Dixon is a beautiful buttermilk buckskin. He stands 15.2HH and
weighs 1200 lbs. He is a registered AQHA, 7-year-old gelding. We have owned
                                                         weigh
Dixon since he was a yearling. He is easy to catch, load, and tie. Our 7-year-old
son is always leading him around and hugging his leg. He is easy to shoe and
clip. Dixon has been used extensively on the ranch, doing all aspects of ranch
work. He has drug calves to the fi re at brandings and roped and doctored cattle and calves
outside. This guy will really track a cow! Dixon has also been on the winning teams at Ranch
Rodeos. He will cut a cow as well! Both men and women have rode this horse and everyone
gets along great with him. Dixon is also a really nice head horse. We have taken him to little
kid rodeos and rode him around with our son and his horse following him. He has been
rode in the feedlot. Dixon is not scared of cattle being all around him. Cows have come up behind him and sniffed his tail and it didn’t
bother him one bit. We have taken Dixon on trail rides and let someone ride him who hardly ever rides and he took really good care of
them. Dixons sire goes back to Driftwood, Willywood, and Poco Bueno. Driftwood was known as speedy, in the arena and on the track.
He was inducted into the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame in 2006. Poco Bueno is the fi rst horse in history to ever be insured
for $100,000. He was a grand champion stallion in 1940. Poco Bueno was a very successful Cutting horse. Dixons dam goes back to
Drifts Chip and Jana Can Bee Blue. Jana Can Bee Blue goes back to the great Jackie Bee. Drifts Chip goes back to Driftwood and Dusty Hancock, so Dixon goes back to
Driftwood on both sides of his papers. Dixon is a horse that the whole family can ride. We have also used Dixon to halter break our colts on. There is nothing this guy
can’t do! Dixon does have a scar on his right front leg but it doesn’t affect him and never has. For more information or to come and try him out please contact John Clark.

even go bridleless. He is a fi nished head and heel horse, very quiet in the box and really
rates cattle good. Cash is gentle for any level rider and is happy to pack the kiddos around.

gelding. Flappy tarps, busy traffi c, loud noises, you name it, he take it all in stride! He even
