Very excited and humbled to be able to offer you this incredible,
14.3HH buckskin gelding. We call him Cactus, and have really enjoyed
having him for two years and taking him through our program. He was born
and raised here in Ohio locally by a young girl. He was started slow and
taken on a lot of trail rides to begin with. He also spent some time with a professional
reining trainer to get tuned up on some cues and learn the maneuvers of a reining horse.
He is really suitable for anyone of any level of riding. He has yet to step foot into a show
ring, but would be willing and able to go and have fun doing it with no issues. He has
one laid back and mellow personality which makes him so easy to train and take to new
environments. He loves to please and he really goes out of his way to do what ever you
ask him to do. He has three very smooth and easy to ride gaits and will go English or
Western and is a dream to ride bareback and bridleless. Cactus has spent a lot of time on
lots of different types of trail rides and will go in all kinds of terrain. He watches where
he places his feet and has a great walk to him. He is not spooky at all and will go through
water, cross bridges, and is fantastic in heavy traffi c. He has been used for beginner riders
on moonlight rides with large crowds and lots of other riders with covered wagons and he is as cool as a cucumber. He
never lets anything get him excited or worked up. He will lead or follow on the trail and you can feel confi dent taking him out
alone right from your farm. Cactus is a horse that loves attention and is such a sweet and forgiving horse. You can let him
sit for days or weeks and he is always the same when you get him out. If you are looking for your confi dence builder, this is
