Apollo is an incredibly gentle, 4-year-old, 16.2HH registered Friesian
Heritage Horse that was born and raised in Montana. Apollo has an
extremely easy going nature and truly loves being around people.
He is the type of horse that looks forward to seeing you and always
comes over to say hello. Apollo has exceptional ground manners and has been
exposed to kids, dogs, cats, goats, and even alpacas! This lovable guy has been
used in wide variety of ranch work tasks and even has a trick up his sleeve! Being
16.2HH, this gentle giant makes it easy for you to get on by bowing down on
one knee and lowering the stirrup to you. No mounting block needed with this
guy! Apollo would make an excellent trail horse as he’s traveled many miles in
the mountains and has crossed many creeks and bridges under the big sky of
Montana. He would make an excellent Dressage or English prospect as he has
a proper foundation, collects well, and is very soft in the bridle and ribcage. If a
good, solid ranch horse is what you’re looking for, Apollo has been exposed to it all. He is very cowy for his breed and is truly
fun to rope on. Apollo has become one of our go to horses if we need to get a job done. He’s been used to pony many colts
and takes it all in stride. Apollo is one of those rare horses that you can trust to take care of you. And that doesn’t come around

or straight out of the box! Tooheys was bred and raised in Weatherford Texas with LTE’s of $3260. By the great
cutting sire Smooth As A Cat, who as of July 2021, has sired offspring earnings in excess of $31.7 MILLION. Tooheys went
immediately into cutting horse training as a 2-year-old and into his 3-year-old year to prepare for the 2020 NCHA Futurity. After
showing in the Open class at the futurity in 2021, Tooheys went on to make the 4-year-old Open fi nals at the Abilene Spectacu-
lar in Abilene, Texas. As a 4-year-old he has been in rope horse training with Brett McDowell in preparation for the 2021 World
Championship Rope Horse Futurity. He will be showing in the Open Heeling. He has excelled in the heeling position since his
training started. He has a huge stop and with the amount of cutting horse training that he has had, he has more style than most.
He is an incredible athlete, very gentle and willing to learn everyday. Tooheys has never bucked nor has he ever had any soundness issues throughout his cutting/
roping career. Anyone can ride him from Youth to Amateur, all the way to an Open competition in two different disciplines! This horse will do whatever you need him
