On behalf of our entire crew, we would like to welcome you to our 7th Annual Rhodes Red Angus Ranch Production Sale.
We are proud to offer an extremely honest set of bulls and two elite female prospects that represent long-term success and
profi tability for the entire beef production system. We design our cattle with full commitment to the commercial producer and
what we feel represents the modern-day beef industry. Our production goal is simple; to produce beef cattle with consistent
and predictable pregnancies, with high-percentage body weight weaning and with convenience traits.

The No. 1 economic loss to the beef herd is open cows as this business is about pregnant cows and live calves. Accomplish
that and couple it with an emphasis on the number of calves produced over a lifetime and you have the ingredients for
success. People say pounds sell but in my opinion, the factory has to produce those pounds consistently for a decade in
order to have continued success.

We expect our cows to wean a high percentage of their body weight under working conditions. We run our cows under strict
calving periods and under the same conditions any commercial producer would as it’s a margin-driven production model.

Although “convenience traits” is a term often loosely thrown around the beef cattle business, we have clearly defi ned these
traits for our cows. Our cows have instinct, balanced hormones and do their job every single day. Convenience traits are
cows that require minimal attention in order to perform. These cows will get pregnant, calve unassisted, mother their calf and
never need extra attention. Cows that are high in convenience traits work for you instead of you working for them.

We believe this business is about balance, understanding that there are thresholds and this is a marathon not a sprint. Our
10 years in the business have yielded us with extremely valuable knowledge and experience and we continue to grow year
after year. We strive to produce honest cattle that represent all current economic pressures to our business.
