number profile, phenotype and pedigree the better it gets.
Birthweight is moderate. WR and YR are both #2 in the
class. Actual and adjusted YW are both #2. ADG is #4 and
ADG ratio is tied for #4. WDA ratio is #2. Actual and adjust-
ed IMF scans are both #4. 10 of his EPDs are in single digit
percentiles, including all indices and growth while CED and
BW stay in the top half of the breed. His ProS, YW and ADG
are tied for #1, while he posts the #2 WW and #4 Marb. He
has check-marked ALL the boxes! Now things get interest-
ing. His performance has given his first calf heifer dam a
109 MPPA. She is set to follow in the footsteps of a very
impressive maternal pedigree, featuring top-notch MPPAs
all the way to 106, going back to a 1957-born dam. Going

registration #95, who was out of Larkspur, Red Angus bull,
registration #1, and then on to a Foundation Angus female.

This moderate-framed bull catches your eye the minute you
walk in the pen. He is clean fronted and smooth built with
extra capacity and a powerful rear quarter. His personal
performance is second-to-none on a true calving ease
bull with a WR that is tied for #3 in the class. REA scan is
excellent with the #3 ratio and the #5 actual and adjusted
measurements and the #1 REA EPD. Damascus is a true
curve bender with all but 3 numbers in the top 19% of
the breed or higher and all but 2 in the top 25%. YG is
simply outstanding and sits at #1 in the class. You find a
breed-leading group of indices backed up by tremendous
calving ease, performance, carcass and maternal. His dam
is a first calf heifer posting an MPPA of 108 and is backed
up by generations of performance-minded females. This bull
hits all the marks and will move into any herd and comple-
ment existing phenotype and genotype. We will be plugging
