P. 2
Welcome
Huber EY Red Angus Greeting from Huber EY Red Angus,
Bryan & Emmy, Isaac, Alex & Betsy Huber Welcome to our 2022 sale. We have been raising Red Angus cattle for the past 25 years and our
5866 76th Ave SE • Jud, ND 58454 focus remains the same. We want to produce balanced traits that work for not only ourselves
Home: (701) 685-2687 but our customers as well. Mothering abilities, docility, foot structure, growth, positive carcass
Bryan: (701) 320-8054 • Emmy: (701) 320-1995 traits are at the top of this list.
We feed everything here at the ranch and use a TMR wagon allowing us to manage a higher
roughage ration. The rations are balanced by our nutritionist Joel Ostendorf, of CHS, and
consist of alfalfa, slough hay, upland hay, hay barley, corn silage, dry DDG, corn and a mineral
supplement. The only creep feed the bulls receive is a Coccidia pellet in the spring before
turnout. They are raised on their own dams, and weaned early October at our ranch. Our goal
is to develop the bulls responsibly and feed for a 3lb/ADG.
Our cowherd and herd sires have all been 50K DNA tested for genetic and parentage assess-
ment. We feel confident that this will provide you with the most accurate numbers when
making your selections.
The bulls have all passed their first semen exam by Dr. Galbreath, Edgeley Vet Service on
March 24. They have also received a foot rot shot. We do recommend having them tested
again before turn out.
Hours and hours go into raising these cattle every year and breeding to improve them. As cattlemen you know and understand this, but we couldn’t get it
all done without the help of our kids and hired help, Joe and Garrett. Thanks to them and all the other individuals that play a role in helping us throughout
the year.
We look forward to working with past and future customers and continue to stand by the cattle we raise. Feel free to visit or ask questions about our herd
anytime.

Simmentals for allowing us to put some embryos in to help speed up the process of getting
some quality black genetics as well.
