Kuhn’s Red Angus Thank you for your interest in our 28th year, it means so much more to us than we can express.
James, Stephanie Kuhn We have been doing a lot this year, and feel it is important to keep you updated. Recently we have DNA and
Elodie, Reagen, Hudson,Brock & Kyah Kuhn parent verified our whole cow herd along with the bulls in the sale. Meaning you will know that not only the
6962 28th Ave SE bull you purchase is out of that sire, but he is also out of the dam in the catalog, and she is verified to who
Napoleon, ND 58561 she is. We believe that you should know that the genetics you are buying is what you are getting!
Home: 701-332-6378 Also, we DNA enhanced the EPDs. By doing this it will give you a more accurate picture of what you are buy-
Cell: 701-426-6921 ing. There have also been enhancements in the ET side of things as well, so you will also see more ET sons
in the sale. Which gives you the ability to turn out full brothers into your cow herds.
We have also been doing a lot this year as a family. So let me get you caught up on the kids.
Kyah is the youngest and definitely the baby of the family. She is 5 right now and is turning 6 in late fall. She
loves playing with the dogs or cats and really enjoys exploring the farm with Brock and Hudson. She does
enjoy playing with her older sisters but has a real connection with her brothers. However, she doesn’t have
as much time for that now since she started preschool in Wishek and will be going to kindergarten next year.
Brock is the next in line, at 7 and about to turn 8 in the fall. He really has enjoyed 1st grade so far, but he
is excited for school to be over so he can be home. When he is at home, he always wants to help his dad.
Whether it would be opening gates or driving a tractor he always wants to do it. He also enjoys planning
what Grandma Irene and he need to do on the farm for the summer.
Hudson is the oldest boy at 10. He is just about done with 4th grade and is really excited to stay home and
help out. He was in elementary boys basketball this year and has really enjoyed it. I think it was more of the
fact he got to stay at Grandma Irene’s overnight, though. He enjoys being outside whether it’s helping dad
feed, playing with the cats and dogs, or just exploring and climbing things.
Reagen is the second oldest at 12, and loves to play with her younger siblings all the time. Which she is really good at. Reagen is in Elementary Volleyball
right now and likes to practice with her older sister Elodie. She enjoys spending time with her new show heifer Mazequine, who also happens to be an ET.
She would like to show her in the Tri County fair this summer, and I have no doubt that she will. Whatever that girl sets her mind to she will achieve, which
is one of the many things I love about her.
The last kid I have yet to talk about is Elodie, a.k.a me. I am the oldest at 13 and about to turn 14 this spring. I just went to FFA state for livestock judging and
got gold. Now that FFA is over I am starting drama and speech. I have also just started Track, where I throw shot and disc. I do save time for cattle though
and am an active member in NDJRA (North Dakota junior Red Angus) and have the position of historian. I also show Red Angus bred heifers at the Tri County
fair, this year I am showing Opal. Her #ID is J036, and her sire is Promotion.
Thank you for your support in our programs,
