Jack Frost is an 11-year-old, 16HH dapple grey John mule.
Whether you want to work on the ranch, go to the show ring or
trail ride, Jack Frost will get you noticed! Jack’s gaits are incredibly
comfortable to ride. He has a nice slow jog and rocking-horse kind
of lope. Jack works off seat and leg pressure well, as well as neck reining and
direct rein. He’s had extensive trail miles across the country. He’s been trail ridden
in TX, KY, IN, IL, MT and WY with experienced and inexperienced riders alike. No
matter what kind of terrain you have, he will handle it with ease and grace. Jack is
happy to ride anywhere in the group or out alone. He’s ponied many colts in the
arena and on the trails too. Jack has shown in a variety of events. Most recently he
competed at the Dixie National Livestock Show and Rodeo. He competed in Hunter
Under Saddle, Western Pleasure,
Reining, Trail, Ranch Riding,
Youth WP, Youth Mulemanship,
Youth Reining, Youth Trail and in
the open ranch classes against
horses. Jack excels in the rail and
pattern classes. His youth rider
had never ridden him prior to the
show, and he was able to pick
right up and successfully show
and place on Jack Frost against
long-time mule and rider teams.
Want to get a little ranchy? Jack is familiar with cattle, has gathered, pushed and sorted, as well as pasture roping. He will open and close gates and moves his body
easily when asked. He has started tracking the roping dummy in the arena. Jack has a great mind. He side passes, backs, turns on forehand or haunch, has a nice
stop, and can even be ridden bridleless! He hauls well and will load on a step up or ramp. He stands tied for clipping and bathing. Anyone will be lucky to own or ride

Buttons is a cute little black mare mule with a fun personality. She
is 9 years old and 13HH tall. Unfortunately, we do not know her
parent’s history. We purchased her from another family with small
children. She was exclusively ridden by two kiddos, ages 7 and 10,
for the last three years prior to us purchasing her. They rode her at chuckwagon
races, parades and on long trail rides. Since we have owned her, she has been
ridden everywhere we can think of and night and day. We have done more bridle
work and tried to make her better in every way. We have also ridden her in parades,
took her through all types of obstacles, competed on her at mule shows, took her
on multiple trail rides off the ranch, hooked her to a cart and even used her for
riding and packing during our cowboy camps. She has a smooth way of going and
no quit in her. She will ride all day for you. We feel she is the complete package for
a riding mule and she drives too. She can be hard to catch when she doesn’t know
you. After you get her in a routine and she knows you, she gets better about it. Her
sweet and trustworthy features far outweigh that one little issue. In the last four months, Landon, our 14-year-old
son has been riding her and testing her out in just about every way possible. She has passed all his requirements
as a nice kid mule or mule for a smaller adult. She has had her teeth floated. She is current on her Coggins test,
vaccinations, worming and she will have a new set of shoes on sale day. Feel free to contact us and ask anything
