Once you are in his presence and look into his soft kind eyes, you
will fall in love with this exceptionally sweet boy. Twix is definitely
a people pleaser and loves attention. He has been an accomplished
show horse competing in the reining earning $5,538 NRHA and he
is also an AQHA point earner. He is uncomplicated, smooth and user
friendly. He is naturally low headed and rides right in between the bridle reins.
With pretty spins, effortless lead changes and amazing speed control, Twix
would be a fun gelding to go back to the show pen in the reining, ranch riding
or versatility classes. Oh, and you can run and stop him blindfolded! He’s so
smooth and consistent. Did I mention how safe and gentle this adorable guy is
every time you saddle him? Absolutely no silly business even with substantial
time off. He’s a Steady Eddy all the way around. Twix has been ridden exten-
sively on trails throughout the Colorado mountains, Arizona desert and at our
ranch in Texas. He’s quiet minded and perfect in and out of the arena. Wildlife,
dogs, pigs, camels, buffalo and cattle don’t faze this guy nor does loud gun-
fire, busy traffic, blowing tarps and heavy machinery. He’s fine with it all! Twix
is easy to catch and handle on the ground. He is always a perfect gentleman

A gorgeous gray 7-year-old gelding from every angle you look at! He
is a great grandson of the great Peppy San Badger who has a proven
record of siring both class and high-end trainability with champions
in all performance horse categories. His offspring have earned more
than $25 million. This gelding is bred to be a champion and built to
last a lifetime. Standing 15.1 HH and weighing 1150 lbs, Sammie is stout, gentle
and handsome with a long, flowing mane and tail. You can catch him anywhere,
saddle up and ride off. He is good to ride outside alone with a nice ground-cov-
ering walk. With a sure foot, he crosses obstacles and water with ease, and is a delight to go take a leisure ride on.
Sammie is a ‘real-deal’ ranch gelding. We have used him to ship, sort, drag calves at brandings, doctor yearlings
and everything in between. Not only does he make ranching easy, but he excels in the roping pen as a head horse
