There are currently 70 junior members in our Montana Junior Red Angus Association.
County Buckle Program
Montana Red Angus rewards buckles to Montana youth who have excelled with their Red
Angus-influenced cattle at their county fairs. To qualify for this award, they must place Grand
Champion or Reserve Champion Overall in breeding, market or carcass. The winning animal
is required to be at least 50% Red Angus influenced to be eligible. MTRAA awarded of these
buckles to 37 deserving individuals in 2021.
