beautiful Bitterroot Valley in western Montana. We sell yearling bulls and commercial
replacements the first Friday in March with Sutherlin Farms. We also raise some small grains

Coby got started raising registered Red Angus with his 4-H money. The heart of the 4C herd
came from the Raisland Red Angus cow family. He has purchased several through the NILE
sale as well. His most recent additions are from I Like It Like That Red Angus and 9 Mile Red
Angus. Coby has bulls and heifers available private treaty at the ranch in Hot Springs, MT.

At 5L we strive to have cattle that are balanced for profit! We make our living ranching, there-
fore we need cows that will raise a calf, breed back and stay in good condition every year. A
cow is an investment. It takes time for her to earn her keep. If she can’t stay in production after
five years, then she isn’t an investment – she’s a loss.
