A bull leased from Old Cypress Farms in Alabama, we believed that 7797 was one of the first
fullblood South Poll bulls that we found that would compliment our Red Angus cows. We knew
RCF 4426 7495 7797 when we saw the calves that he produced in Alabama, that he would work on our cow-base here
in Texas. We mated him with a large group of heifers and cows to produce this first crop of half-
bloods in our herd. We feel these crosses will bring the slick hides and heterosis of the South Poll
in a high-capacity, heavy-muscled, grass-efficient package that we have bred into our red angus for
over a decade. We are excited to see how these crosses perform in commercial operations.
