Molly that is very well trained to ride and drive. She is at a point in
her life where she will stay the same sweet mule even with time off
from riding and driving. Darla is the type of mule that you can give your grandkids
rides on her and then go take the saddle off of her and hook her to a cart for a
nice Sunday afternoon drive. She has a great personality in the barn or pasture,
she doesn’t have any bad habits. Darla has been ridden by all level of riders, if we
are going on a trail ride or moonlight ride, she is the one we put green riders on,
and we don’t have to worry. She has been hauled all over for trail rides and even
some small shows. She loads on a trailer easy every time. She crosses water, logs,
bridges, and obstacles with ease. We have ridden and driven her countless miles
out on busy roads where we live and traffic doesn’t bother her. We have used Darla
to move and rope calves for doctoring in the pasture. She always keeps her laid
back and calmness attitude through it all. For as much as she excels out on the
trails, she has a nice trot and lope in the arena. She knows her leads and moves
off leg cues. Darla has even dabbled in being ridden English and going over small
jumps. She has excellent ground manners, and is easy to catch, stands great for
the farrier, good to groom, and loves baths. Darla will definitely be missed by all
of us here, but we hope she can bring a smile to your face the way she did for us.
She has been in our program for the last year where she excelled in every thing we
asked her to do. If you are ready to purchase your next lifelong equine partner, we
