Gelding 15.2 HH
FRESIAN/OLDENBURG X QH/PERCHERON
Big, Black and BEAUTIFUL that’s the first impression meeting our
Friesian X gelding affectionately known as Freddie. He is gentle, friendly,
patient and always willing to do everything we’ve asked of him. We
bought Freddie directly from his breeder and he is 5 years old, registered
with the International Draft and Sport Horse registry. He’s built to last
with great feet, bone and balanced confirmation. He has excelled through all aspects of
our training program from the ground to the arena, trail and ranch. He is soft, supple
and responsive in the bridle and easily moves off leg pressure. He rides in everything
from a d ring snaffle to a curb bit, halter, neck rope and even guides and rides bridless
by lightly asking with your fingertips on his neck. He stands perfectly to saddle,
bridle and mount, happily moves to a mounting block, stump or whatever you need
to make mounting easier. Freddie is SAFE. A confidence builder that takes care of a
novice rider. Freddie is a lot of fun for someone that wants to step up to a smooth trot
that he easily extends if you want to cover some big country. With a light squeeze he
effortlessly moves up into a graceful balanced lope, fun to ride and enjoy with a loose
flowy neck rein. He circles great, has nice crisp rollbacks, and will stop on a dime. He’s
SUREFOOTED and has been ridden in all kinds of trails from heavily wooded forests,
Montana mountains, across huge prairies and in the steepest rockiest areas you can
imagine. He’s like a mountain goat going up and down and through tons of diverse terrain. He is CONFIDENT by himself and happily leads or follows in a group. He enjoys splash-
ing through water, willingly steps over downfall, and can pick his way through tight areas. He rides great with dogs, experienced around lots of deer, wildlife, birds, ducks, bridges,
ATVs, 4 wheelers, traffic, always bringing his rider home happy and safe. On the ranch, Freddie is great in the branding pen, gathering and moving cattle. He stands ground tied
when you step off to repair fence and will follow you around when you throw the reins up on his neck. He’s confident with tarps, gun shots, umbrellas, bouncy balls, flags, bikes,
tractors and lots more. He is happy to give your favorite dog a ride or pull a puppy in a cart. He knows some fun tricks too. Freddie has been ridden by riders of all different sizes,
ages and ability levels and he takes care of everyone. If you are timid, he will take care of you, and if you are adventurous, he will fulfill all your dreams! Sure to be a sale highlight!
Freddie is well trained, MULTI TALENTED, safe, reliable, experienced, confident and FUN! Freddie looks forward to taking his new owner on a lifetime of Happy Trails.

2019 Blue Roan Grade Percheron/QH
Mare 15.3 HH
Dahlia is a stunning 15.3 hand, 4-year-old Percheron/QH cross. Not
only will you love her Blue Roan color, but her personality is just as
easy to love. She is very friendly and loves people. She will greet you
every morning with her ears pricked and a friendly nicker. Dahlia is
also a joy to ride. She will ride English or western. She shows excellent talent for
dressage or jumping. She has three balanced gaits. A consistent walk, forward
trot, and rocking horse canter. She has natural collection and a powerful hind
leg. She is solid at training level dressage and schooling 1st level movements.
Lateral work comes easy and she is sure to be able to move up the levels quickly.
Over fences, she has nice scope and is brave. Dahlia is easily schooling 2’6” and
has the talent to go higher. She has been cross country schooling. Up and down
banks are no issue and she really enjoys the water jumps! Dahlia also rides west-
ern and neck reins. She enjoys a nice leisurely trail ride. She will ride anywhere
in the group without a fuss and will leave the group. Crossing creeks, ditches, up
and down steep hills, and walking over deadfall. She will do any of that with no
questions asked. Have some cows to check? Dahlia is game for that too. She will
ride through the herd and help to push them to the catch pens. Her ground and
stall manners are very nice. She loads and unloads quietly, stands tied well and
loves to have a bath! We absolutely love having Dahlia in the barn, and we know
you will too!
