and handsome look no further then DZ APRIL COWBOY aka Rodger
would be my pick for you. Whether you want to trail ride out in the
desert in Arizona or gather cows off the mountain tops of Montana,
Rodger will take care of you with his smooth way of moving and
sensibility. Rodger is an AQHA registered, 5-year-old black gelding that is 15.2
hands high and a big stout 1225lbs., with a flawless confirmation, a hip that never
ends, correct in the legs with a beautiful head and neck. He is so versatile he will
ride like a show horse in the arena with a fancy handle, huge stop, turn around,
side pass, open gates and will work a cow whether you’re sorting pairs, ranch
cutting or dragging calves to the fire. No matter if you like to ride once a month
or everyday Rodger is the same horse every time you saddle him. He is so laid back and easy going you can ride him bridle-less, bareback, he is used to kids, dogs, cats,
goats and whatever else come with the ranch. He will kick a giant ball around the arena for fun, maneuver through any of the trail obstacles or turn a steer back on the
fence and does it all with a lot of confidence and style. He goes through water without hesitation, would be a perfect fit for a beginner as he will slow down for them and
right up to advance rider who wants to get a job done on the ranch. His pedigree is full of outstanding all-around and foundation type horses that I always look forward to
riding because of their smart and easy way of riding. Rodger is the most confident horse you will ever ride, go out and ride alone or in a large group, put him in the front
or rear, pony another horse it won’t matter he will ride like a dream either way. Rodger is up to date on all vaccinations, worming and 100% sound and has never had any
health issues. He has good solid feet and is easy to shoe, bathe, clip, catch and handle. We love Rodger and are confident he will fit into your program no matter what
