BJ Campbell Team Roping is once again excited to welcome you all to our 3rd ANNUAL THE ROPE HORSE SALE, PROSPECTS AND MORE!...
Our goal is to present a quality selection of good rope horses of all ages from started to finished that will meet the needs of serious competitors
at all levels, to weekend warriors, beginner to open caliber ropers, ranchers, peewee cowboys and cowgirls to trail riders and everything in
between. We try to bring an array of consignments to fit different ropers needs and check book! We are proud to offer these quality rope horses
to the public during the heat of the team roping season in Arizona!
We’ve moved to a new location and venue for 2024. The Rope Horse Sale is calling the little cowboy town of Salome its home from here on
out. If you’ve never heard of Salome Az, that’s ok, its just a hop, skip, and jump west of Wickenburg on US Hwy 60. BJ has been hard at work
building an arena at the Salome Restaurant at Mountain Pass, The Red Pony Arena.
We are blessed this year to have Wickenburg’s own Jeff Thorstenson on the auction block. Jeff is no stranger to the rope horse world. Thor-
stenson Performance Horses have been in this business a very long time, from breeding, raising, training, selling and competing, Jeff and
Kristie have been successfully involved in every aspect of the rope horse industry. Jeff, myself, BJ and www.goldbucklehorsesale.com are
looking forward to bringing you an authentic and unique action-packed preview and sale! The preview will start at high noon on Friday January
19, 2024 and will include team roping, calf roping, and breakaway roping. It will be broadcast live on-line and will be available to view in The
Salome Restaurant.
Owners and producers of The Rope Horse Sale, LLC, BJ & Heather Campbell, have been in the rope horse industry for many years. Separately
and then joining forces in 2009 they have bought, sold and brokered many successful, quality rope and performance horses to all levels of rop-
ers all over the country. BJ is a 3X NFR Qualifier and is well known for his horsemanship and training abilities. Each has been horseback since
before they could walk, and they’ve known each other since their late teens. Heather has always been an avid team roper, she enjoys breakaway
roping and running barrels too. Their joint passion is horses, roping, and rodeo. BJ and Heather work side by side, every day, with daughter
Even Grace Campbell training and selling rope horses at their beautiful home in Salome AZ.
Please remember that many of these rope horses are in Arizona for the winter or will be in Arizona days before the sale. We encourage prospec-
tive buyers to make contact with the consignors to pre-inspect horses or to watch them work at the local jackpots.
Make plans to join us both days at 12 p.m. MST, for the live preview on Friday, January 19th and again at 12 p.m. for The Rope Horse Sale on
Saturday, January 20, 2024 at The Red Pony Arena and Bar. BBQ ribs, cornbread, cowboy beans (along w/reg menu), pool, live country music,
affordable cocktails, and dancing to follow close of sale! Please spread the word. Hope to see you all there!
