13-year-old Sorrel gelding we raised from a colt. He has had a lot of training
but can be ansty but good in the box. He has tremendous speed and has been
used in the open to a #9. He has been jackpotted on as well as a high school
rodeo horse. He rides like a dream and faces up well. Suitable for any age. No
maintenance. Has been heeled off of a bit this year.

Murphy is a phenomenal gelding that anyone would be lucky to get their hands
on. I have owned him since he was a 4-year-old. He has excelled at every level
in the roping pen and can be ridden by any level of roper. He has been hauled
and ridden at every event you can think of from pro rodeos to large jackpots.
There is no nonsense with Murphy – turn him out for six months and climb
right on the same horse. Plenty of run and try for a high number roper but
sane enough to put kids on and let him babysit. Rides great outside on trails or
doing ranch work as well. This is one of the nicest horses I have ever owned.
