Reference Sires
Startup was our pick at the 2022 Niobrara Red Angus
bull sale. When you walked behind him your first word
was WOW! Super wide across his top and hind quar-
ters. He also carried a 43cm scrotal as a yearling that
day and ratioed 116 for his REA. He has excellent foot
and leg structure. His dam has a picture-perfect bag
and awesome feet. He has a great libido and extremely
high-quality semen. His EPDs are getting better but are
somewhat construed being his sire and dam came from
Canada. The best thing about his calves is he stamps
every calf like himself. One of the most consistent and
impressive sires we have ever used. Owned by Dk Red
Angus and Niobrara Red Angus. Semen available.

Midas was our pick and Lot 1 in the 2022 Pieper Red
Angus Spring Sale. We traveled a lot of miles and
looked at a lot of bulls to find a Powerhouse Quarter-
back son that we could use on heifers and be as impres-
sive as his sire. He had a 41cm scrotal as a yearling. He
has an awesome disposition and is the easiest keeping
bull to have around. His dam is a beautiful Wideload
daughter with good feet and an ideal udder. We have
mainly used him on our first and second calvers, so his
weaning weights were down, but we plan to use him a
lot more on our cow herd. We are really looking forward
to getting his daughters producing for us. He is making
picture perfect daughters so far. Owned by DK Red
