Kiwi is truly a one-of-a-kind steel Gray gelding wearing four white
socks and a strip face, sired by a son of the famous Haythorn
Stallion, PG SHOGUN and on his bottom side he is a grandson of
the famous LENAS SUGARMAN (NRHA andNCHA $36,936 - 2000
USET Gold Medalist) he stands 15.1 and as strong made as you can
find. This gelding has that old school breeding with the shape and bone to match.
Not only is he made and colored right but his full mane and tail just adds to this
picture-perfect boy. Kiwi is seasoned in all aspects of ranch work as we have used
him outside doctoring, sorting, dragging calves and shipping. We have spent
countless hours with this horse and he has proven over and over again just why
we think he is truly a PREMIER worthy gelding. Kiwi is kind, forgiving, trained
and talented. Kiwi has also been to several ranch riding and versatility schooling
shows and would make an excellent ranch rider. He has a very fancy handle with a beautiful turn around, sliding stop, lead departures and changes and always stays in
frame. One thing about Kiwi that is hard to find is the fact he can take weeks, or even months off of work, and never get fresh; he will be the same gentle, willing horse
you handled before turning him out. Kiwi not only has all the buttons one needs, but he has been put through an excessive amount of tarping out along with several
cowboy challenge and trail courses, making him truly unflappable and an extremely solid and trustworthy trail partner. Kiwi is also trained to lay down on command, from
the ground and his back, and he loves it! If you need some help getting on, just point at his shoulder, he’s here to help. Kiwi is also started in the team roping and going
extremely well as a switch end rope horse, showing an ample amount of promise and ability. Another positive to add to the list on this boy’s resume, he has been hauled
not only around the state of California, but we have also used him at our other ranch in Mount Vernon, Texas... he has been hauled all over and seen more country than
most. Kiwi is truly kind and is the first to meet you at the gate, he is a complete gentleman on the ground and his back and is completely kid friendly. Kiwi is up to date
on shots, worming, vaccinations and shoeing, we have all of is records and he has been kept in the upmost best conditions. If you are looking for a well-rounded, lifetime
partner who will always try his heart out for you, don’t look past Kiwi. He is TRULY one of a kind. We, at Coyote Hollow Ranch are so proud to offer Kiwi to the public,
