Center stage is DIAMOND BARS TULSA, a 2019 model that stands
15H. Tulsa, as we call him, is one of the most reliable and easy to ride
trail horses that we have had through our program in a long time. He
has such a sweet and loving personality that seems to capture the
heart of anyone that rides him. He is a solid sized horse with a good foot under
him. Tulsa settles in easy no matter where we take him and he loves to learn new
things. He has three very easy to ride gaits and knows his leads well. He has a
great neck rein and knows how to move well off leg pressure. Tulsa has the atti-
tude that is great for that first time horseback rider as he carries himself with a lot
of confidence. He will take you down the trail, past obstacles and over bridges and
through water ways without missing a step. You can let him sit for weeks and get
him out and he will be the same horse each and every time. He doesn’t mind riding
down the road in heavy traffic and has been around all different kinds of farm
animals and equipment. Tulsa has wonderful barn manners and will stand quiet in cross ties while you groom and tack him up. He also single ties and ground ties just as
well. He is wearing shoes all around right now because of the area where we ride. He is good for the farrier and the vet and is also a great horse in the pasture even in a
mixed herd. Tulsa will be one of the first horses at the gate when you come down to the barn. He loves attention and loves to please no matter what you ask of him. He
can be ridden western, English and is great to ride bareback and bridle-less. With Tulsa’s solid mind and athletic ability, he can be taken in numerous directions to suit
your needs. If this is the horse that you have been looking for, please contact Duane Yoder of Buckeye Acre Farm.

SPINNIN ON WHIZKEY is a stunning 4-year-old Bay Gelding. He is an
own son of the outstanding WHIZKEY N DIAMONDS, LTE $224,020;
producer of offspring earning over $2.8 Million Dollars. Whizkey is paid
up in the Riata Buckle. He is out of a daughter of the great NIC IT IN THE BUD, LTE $148,165; NRCHA 2 Million Dollar
Sire; offspring earnings over $2.6 Million. Whizkey has been with us for over 2 years, with all his training being done at our facility.
Whizkey’s education has been guided by 30 years of experience, ensuring he has a strong foundation no matter what discipline you
would like to focus on in the future. Disposition is very important in all our horses. Whizkey is a great example of what we look for.
He has been extremely easy to handle and train, right from the start. He loves being around people and really enjoys learning new
things. Whizkey is definitely a barn favorite! Everything we have done in his training he has taken in stride. From obstacles like the
ball, flag, tarp, teeter totter, bridges, and bull whip, Whizkey has handled with ease. Combine his mind with athletic ability and con-
firmation, you have a horse that will excel in just about any discipline you choose. I feel he would excel in VRH and roping. He has
all the maneuvers to go and compete in VRH right now. His transitions are smooth from walk, trot, extended trot, lope, and extended
lope. He has smooth flying lead changes, a big stop and an A+ spin. Whizkey really enjoys the cattle work. He has a lot of natural cow and look to him. His boxing and fence
work are very good. He is also on point when tracking and roping a cow. We have also done some cutting work with Whizkey. Outside the arena Whizkey is an outstanding part-
ner to be with. Whether you need to go gather and move some cattle, sort pairs, or just have a nice relaxing trail ride, he’s a horse you can depend on and enjoy. Whizkey has
been ridden by beginner to advanced riders. He is very patient and willing with beginners. He stands for bathing, clipping and the farrier. He loads in a stock and slant trailer. If
Whizkey sounds like the kind of horse you’ve been looking for, give Tietjen Performance Horses a call. Terry and Kate would love to visit with you about Whizkey.
