Kuhn’s Red Angus
James, Stephanie Kuhn We have been doing a lot this year as a family, so let me get you caught up on the kids.
Elodie, Reagen, Hudson,Brock & Kyah Kuhn Starting off with the baby of the family, Kyah, who turned 7 in September last year. She started first grade
6962 28th Ave SE this year and has enjoyed making new friends as well as getting time away from home. When she is home,
Napoleon, ND 58561 she spends her time taking care of her new bottle calf, who she loves. It is a larger heifer calf, who she

Brock just turned 9 this year and is about to finish third grade. He is more excited, though, about being
able to stay home and help with outside chores. He has started driving tractors more as well as helping
with feeding during weekends. Like Kyah, he is also taking care of a bottle calf. It is a bull calf, and he has
nicknamed it Larry.
Hudson is the oldest boy and will turn 13 in August. He is almost done with sixth grade, and he is super
excited to start seven grade and spend more time with his two older sisters. Like his younger brother he
spends a lot of his time at home helping his dad, whether it be with feeding or fixing miscellaneous things
around the farm. He was also in basketball this year and has loved being away for games.
Reagen is the second oldest at 14 and is involved in track this year and JO volleyball. She loves being able
to go to practices and games with her friends. She also has recently taken up a job at Nita’s Attic where
she works in the store. When at home she spends a lot of her time with her horse, Mouse.
The oldest kid in the family is Elodie, she is 15 and about to turn 16 in May. Elodie has had a busy year
with FFA. She was High Individual for the Demonstration LDE, where she demonstrated what we do with
our calves during weaning time, and she will be going to Nationals in August. She was also parliamentar-
ian for the state runner up parliamentary procedure team, and in livestock judging she took ninth at state. Right now, she is in Drama and Speech. Elodie
is also a member of the North Dakota Junior Red Angus Association (NDJRAA).
Thank you for your support in our programs,
