Johnnes Disease or “That damn sh***ing disease!”
Johnnes, formerly considered a dairy disease, is becoming
very prominent across the beef herds. If you don’t know what it
is, get your phone out and Google it. We started hearing about
this in herds around here a few years ago. This prompted us to
test our herd for this devastating disease. At that time the State
veterinarian was implementing a program for Johnnes and we
enrolled. Since then, we have tested all females 3 years old
and older and all bulls 2 years and older with all tests being
negative. We are now a certified Johnnes-Free herd.

As your seedstock supplier, we felt it was necessary to do this
to give you the peace of mind when buying from us.
