39 JACKSON NASMDA
John
Brown
15.1 HH Year Born: 2019
If you are looking for talent, looks and breeding in the black, look
no further. Tall Dark N Foxy, or Jackson, as we call him, is by the
legendary jack, Clyde’s Gallant Fox who is arguably one of the
most prolific show mule sires of all time. His mother is an appendix Quarter Horse
daughter of A Major Leaguer, sire of AQHA World Reserve World Champions and
Congress Champions. Jackson is 15.1HH and 1200 pounds. He is probably the
most friendly and gentle 6-year-old john mule you will ever meet. He catches you
in the pasture or in the pen. He is quiet and patient and will stand tied quietly all
day. Jackson is a naturally brave mule who does not spook easily and is game
to go pretty much anywhere you ask him. Ride him in and pack him out. He will
pack anything including deer and elk. He has been hunted on and packed in the
roughest country and he is perfectly comfortable with just his rider and no other
mules or horses. There isn’t much that scares Jackson and he is quiet and careful
out on the trail alone or in a group. He is soft in the bridle and very broke. He
handles like a stock horse but has a jog, trot and lope like a show horse. Mules
like Jackson rarely come available. When they are this talented, gentle and pretty,
people usually just don’t sell them. He will load in any trailer and hauls great. In
fact, be careful he might just load into the backseat of your minivan. Jackson is up
to date on dental, vaccinations, deworming and hoof care. He is easy to clip, shoe,
bathe, vaccinate and deworm. Come try him at our ranch in Bend, Oregon or ride
him at Bryce Canyon Mule Days. We would love to show him to you and tell you
more about his adventures. He will be literally used for everything you can do mule
back until the sale. He is just that handy.

40 QUESO Grade
John
Sorrel
13.2 HH Year Born: 2011
Queso is a Sorrel john mule, he stands 13 HH and weighs 950
lbs. Queso has been ridden by our 6-year-old Grandson. He is a
stout little dude that has been used on many mountains trips and
is an amazing pack mule. He is very sure footed and crosses rivers and deadfall
with ease. You can put your kids on him or pack him up with all the food and be
confident that everything will make it safely to camp. Queso has a one hand neck
rein and has a great stop. He has been used on the ranch to do all aspects of ranch
work as well. He is good with other mules or horses and can be ridden alone or
by himself. Queso is good with his feet and ears, clips well and is up to date with
de-wormer and vaccinations. He is a pleasure to be around and will be an asset to
anyone’s Remuda.
