SUNFROST BLUE LEAPER, affectionately known as Grover, is the
complete package. He is 15.3 HH, 1,280 lbs, and 8 years old. He’s
gentle as they come, big and broke, and absolutely beautiful! There
isn’t much under the sun that Grover hasn’t done. He’s been a ranch
horse, a trail horse, done some playday events, packed a flag, been to
the Sonic, been ridden bareback, and even dabbled in English and jumping. Grover
is as gentle as they come and has a big, sweet personality to go with him. Grover
is good to catch, stands tied nicely, loads, leads, shoes, bridles, and saddles with
ease. Grover has a beautiful, collected lope, nice jog trot, and easy walk out. Grover
is straightforward on the trail and is great to ride in the back, front, or middle of a
group. He is confident over logs, water, bridges, brush, hills, and ditches. Grover
has done all the ranch work. He has drug calves to the fire, pen backed cattle at the
sale yard, gathered cattle from big pastures, and sorted pairs. Grover has a lot of
cow working ability and enjoys it. Grover is easy to mount and likes playing with
the tarp, flag, sled, and other party tricks. Grover will side pass up to a mounting
block, fence, or trailer fender for easy mounting as well. Grover will lope on either
lead on a loose rein as well as complete correct haunch and forehand turns. He side passes either way and is great to open gates on. Grover is the same if you ride him
every day or once every six months. Grover’s breeding is old school with lines back to some exceptionally talented cattle-working and proven ranch horses. Grover has all
the gentle, kindness, look, mind, and ability that his predecessors are known for. Grover is up to date on dental, vaccinations, chiropractic care, hoof care, and worming.
Grover will also sell with our optional two-day clinic at our home facility in Baxter Springs, Kansas, in addition to a comprehensive manual on Grover’s cues, habits, and

The name is Teddy. As in Teddy Bear, because yes, he’s that gentle
and handsome to boot! Teddy, a 6-year-old, 15.3 HH gelding, has a
pedigree of reining royalty. Smart Spook (LTE in excess of $400,000
- PE $8.5 million) out of Whizin Off Sparks (LTE $108,000 - PE
$317,000). In only a few show pen appearances, Teddy won $930.66.
Teddy is sound and ready to work and would make a ranch horse deluxe or
low-level reiner. Ranch riding, ranch trail, ranch rail…or just a super fancy ranch
horse. Teddy currently resides in a show home/sizable working ranch operation
and spends his time as a flag carrying, cattle working, creek crossing, bridleless
maneuver cowboy Cadillac. Teddy has tracked and breakaway roped slow cattle.
Teddy has mane for days, a beautiful golden color, X-rays clean, but does have a
few coat blemishes including coat discoloration on his left knee, right cannon, and
right cinch area. He’s going to make someone an extra fancy, but even more than
fancy … a kind, in-your-pocket gelding. We’d love to visit with you about him.
