49 WILLY Appaloosa Grade
2018
Gelding 13 HH
Willy is an incredibly unique POA pony that our children have really
enjoyed having in our program. Kyler and Saylor have taught this
pony everything you can think of. He is trained to curbside mount,
lays down on command, is broke to drive, and tops it all off with
being super broke! Willy was raised by some family friends and we
are his second owner. Since we have owned him, we have used him right alongside
the big horses. He goes along to the feed yard, the branding, shipping, sorting, you
name it, Willy has done it. He is quiet and gentle no matter if you saddle him when
it’s cold at 4 in the morning and go gather a pasture or if the kids just catch him up
out of the pasture and crawl on him bareback for a joy ride. This is a pony that’s
sure-footed in the roughest terrain and will never get your kids in a bind. He is
smart about his feet and only wants to please, I swear he has a heart of pure gold.
Willy has also been hauled with us to some play days and Jr. rodeos. While he is
not patterned, he is very broke and willingly goes through all of the events Saylor
wants to do on him! Willy has also been the pony we put Townes on to pony
him along with us on long days at the Canadian River. He crosses water, downed
timber, and rocky terrain like an old pro. Willy is a pony that will meet you at the
gate every day of the week and always enjoys being loved on by his kiddos. His
personality is endless and you can just tell how much he loves his job. Willy is an
exceptional pony to teach your child and boost their confidence for years to come.
No matter how young, how much of a beginner, or how advanced your child is,
Willy will adapt accordingly, and we believe that is such a rare thing in any horse
or pony. Please reach out with any questions, we’d love to chat with you about our
sweet Willy! Cheyenne McPahil, 806-282-7093, Levi Brozek, 785-531-2353.

ARROW K PROMISED MOMENTS (affectionately called Alamo) is
a Palm Tree Pony that we are proud to present in the Best of Texas
Premier Horse Sale. He is a registered section A Blue Roan Welsh
Gelding that stands just at 12 HH. He is by THE PROMISE SAND
STORM LOM (WPCSA multi-supreme champion halter, champion
driving both pair and single, ridden Welsh classic, hunter/western pleasure, over
fence 24”, western pleasure) and out of THE PROMISE CLASSIC ROSE (a daughter
of ASGARD SOLAR FLARE). His bloodlines consist of fabulous, versatile, and
typey family ponies who have also proven successful on the WPCSA show circuit.
We have owned and enjoyed this pony through many seasons and he is a proven
fit for children of varied riding abilities and confidence levels. We have used him
as a turnback pony, using pony, lead line pony and just something to tolerate kid
shenanigans with or without a saddle. He can lie down when asked, leads respect-
fully for little children and enjoys being groomed. Alamo has a plucky, friendly
personality and stands quietly whether he’s with other horses or all alone. He is
gentle enough for a hesitant rider but has enough life and feel to be enjoyable for
a kid who wants to see some country, do a job, or ride with a little more speed. He travels smoothly and confidently and would be fun to take to WPCSA shows as well.
He’s seasoned to cattle, sheep, goats, deer, blackbucks, dogs, cats, poultry, heavy equipment, bicycles, and more. He’s lived with big horses and small ponies – mares,
geldings, and stallions - and always gets along fine. Alamo has truly been a sensible, trustworthy, and honest pony that we all love. He is strong enough for an adult to
step on and ride, but most of his seasoning has been done by 7-year-old Mae Neubert of Stephenville, Texas. Please feel free to contact Mae or her parents Luke and Kelli.
