A stunning blue-eyed blonde, Stix is a one-in-a-million gelding
that checks all the boxes. He’s blessed with looks, ability and a
fun personality. Stylish, smooth and easy to guide, he is quite
the fancy ride. This finished reiner is the perfect horse to show,
take on trail rides, ranch ride, rope onor anything you set your mind to.
Sure to be a sale highlight, Stix stands a user-friendly 14.3 HH and weighs
a healthy 1,150 pounds. Very correctly put together under that gorgeous
golden coat, Stix has an enviable bone structure and is stoutly made. This
makes him exceptionally versatile; he’s ready to go in any direction. Triple
registered, Stix has APHA, PHBA and AQHA papers, so the showing possi-
bilities are endless. Soft in the face and broke the way a good one should
be, Stix is always pleasant to ride and eager to please. Easy lead changes,
pretty spins, big stops and flawless transitions – he’s ready to go to the
show pen or the ranch. Stix has a solid foundation as a rope horse and
is comfortable doing all the ranch chores. He’s easy to sort cattle on and
quietly works gates. He’s experienced with riding in the rugged mountains
of New Mexico, including crossing the Rio Grande and is very sure-foot-
ed in rough country. Stix rides out confidently in a group or alone – he’s
perfectly fine either way. Very accommodating to any level of rider, Stix’s
kind temperament easily adapts to whoever is riding him. Royally bred,
Stix is by the legendary HF MOBSTER, whose offspring have won over
$1,295,000 in the NRHA. Stix’s dam, CHIC AND SPRAT, proved her talent
by winning the Congress Non-Pro Cutting Futurity. Her foals have excelled
in working cow horse and reining shows. CHIC AND SPRAT is a daughter
of SMART CHIC OLENA, an all-time leading sire of NRHA, NRCHA and
AQHA reining, cow horse and ranch horse money and point earners. Stix
will stay gentle with time off; it doesn’t matter if you ride every day or once
a week. He’s an easy keeper and easy to be around, with pleasant ground
manners. He’s great for the farrier, easy to clip, bathe and just enjoy. We’d
