Occasionally we try some outside sires and CRAFTSMAN is one of them.
Some we use again and others not. CRAFTSMAN was used again and will
continue to be used as well as his son that sells as lot 1 in this offering.
CRAFTSMAN holds the distinction as being the youngest sire to have sired
Connealy Craftsman the most registered offspring in a single year.

COMMERCE was another outside sire that was used and will continue to be
used. The only problem with his calf crop, is that we wish we had more to
offer that the 3 lots in the offering. He is definitely an outcross for us, our
customers and the breed in general.

Occasionally we purchase some bulls to experiment with and some work better than
others. This bull from Nelson Angus has surpassed our expectations. He needs to and
will be used more in the future. What this bull has matured into and the calf produced
as Lot 12 easily made the decision to continue his use at FAR.
