This bull was purchased by Fox Angus Farms, Watertown, SD – a longtime Angus
breeder and customer of ours. We were impressed with the performance and the fact
that he was out of a daughter of FREYS APPEARANCE that they had successfully used
in their program. His sire is an outcross for us and had outstanding carcass traits. The
Freys Appearance, MGS to Reference Sire M bull breeds true to form with 7 younger aged bulls in the sale.

TRUE GRIT was the lead off bull in the Champion Pen of Five at the 2021 Cattlemen’s
Congress where he was purchased by Genex for $55,000. He has been our replacement
for his sire Freys Cowboy Logic where his offspring calve easily and have that attractive
look and performance that has. 8 sons and grandsons are in the offering including
FREYS True Grit those by FREYS ROOSTER and FAR TRUE GRIT 2187.

ULTRA was purchased by Daren Thorstenson, Selby, SD in the Krebs Ranch
2023 sale. We were able to purchase a semen interest in the bull as we
were impressed with the natural thickness that the bull exhibited as well as
carcass value and maternal strength of his numbers. The heifers sired by
Connealy Hayday, Sire to Reference Sire O him are exceptional and the bull calves are made in his image.
