own son of Wimpys Little Step. Wimpys Little Step is an NRHA
Hall of Fame inductee and a $11 million sire. 8-Ball is out of a big-boned NRHA mon-
ey-earning mare by Jerry Lees Surprise. He is athletic, beautiful and easy keeping.
This sharp-looking gelding stands over 15.1 HH and weighs 1200 lbs. He is mature, quiet and
honest. 8-Ball has been hauled and seasoned. He has seen it all at – rodeos, roping jackpots,
barrel races and our working cow ranch. He travels well, eats and drinks on the road. He stands
tied quietly and is good to shoe. We use 8-Ball on the ranch working cattle and he is a top hand.
He’s a great traveler and nothing bothers him. My wife enjoys taking him down the trails and out
through the pastures. Absolutely no holes or vices. Super kind and gentle even with time off. You
cannot fi nd better papers, conformation and disposition in a horse. He is very quick-footed and
moves light across the ground. His athleticism and desire to please make him a talented high-end
performance horse. Be it roping, working cow horse, barrel racing or ranch riding competitions,
8-Ball’s maturity and willingness make him a winner. This all-around gelding is a high-caliber
team roping horse. We head and heel steers on him. He is cowy and easy to handle through the
run. 8-Ball is smooth and makes it easy to rope on him. He stays in his lane and does not overrun
the steer. This allows you to take those extra swings. His quick move from the corner and deep
stop make him a top-end breakaway horse. 8-Ball has over one year of reining training and can
spin a hole in the ground. This gelding also runs a competitive and pretty barrel pattern. 8-Ball is
smart, gentle and quiet. You will thoroughly enjoy throwing a leg over him. He has all the tools
– he’s honest, safe, broke, kind, athletic, intelligent, pretty, cowy, seasoned, quiet, consistent,
