back and is long underneath with 2 BIG hind legs and a gigantic hip! This
gelding is permanently registered with the American Quarter Horse Associ-
ation as “LJSR Roanster”. He was ranch raised from the Lazy JS Ranch in
Bowman North Dakota. These folks have been raising Quarter Horses for
61 years. His sire, LJSR Emperor, has produced a legacy of ranch horses,
performance horses with tons of talent in Barrel Racing, Roping, as well as
show horses with the mindset for youth to show in any event! These folks
have made a lifetime commitment to raising good ones and their program
is outstanding!! Gumbos dam, LJSR Nellie Roan, is out of a direct daugh-
ter of Fancy Red Bark, who is registered as 100% in the NFQHA. Gumbo
is stunning and is an absolute treasure to own each and every day. He is
easy to catch no matter how much time he has had off or how hard he
had to work the day before. He tacks up like a gentleman and rides off the
same way. Perfect for the farrier and vet too!! He can be ridden bareback
with a halter anytime as well. Gumbo is suitable for any rider on the ranch,
out on the trails, or in the arena. He is a fi nished head horse and will suit
most any level of ropers. He runs to cattle; he is quiet in the box and does
