Are you looking for a horse that will last you forever, built
right, big and strong?! Roller is the horse you are you looking
for! Coming in at 15.2 hands high and 1250 lbs, he will handle
anything you put in front of him. Roller is our go-to ranch
horse and he has done it all on the ranch. From gathering cattle in the
deep swamps, to dragging calves at the brandings. He has put in some
long days sorting, doctoring, and moving cattle. Roller will pack a load
but ride around like a little horse. He is great in the mountains and on the
trails. He goes where you want. Water, rocks, deadfall, he crosses it all! This gelding has a big sure foot and will walk out and make some miles on a
loose rein with a low head. He has swum the river and will push his way through thick brush on the river banks. You can take him straight from the
mountains to the roping pen too! Roller is a fi nished head horse. He runs hard to cattle with lots of rate, scores great, and is smooth across the pen!
This gelding is ready to take you to the pay window! You can let him sit and then pull him out on the coldest of days, whenever you need him. He
saddles up great and goes to work. Roller is great to shoe, bathe, clip and never hesitates to load. This big, pretty, gelding is at the prime of his life
and ready to go in whatever direction you want to take him!

37 HERCULES
2014 Blue Roan Grade
Gelding 16.2 HH 1500 lbs.
Hercules is a half draft that we raised. He is sired by Hancocks
Blue Bird and out of a black Clydesdale mare. He has been gen-
tle every day of his life. Used on the ranch for all basic ranch
chores and enjoyed by the entire family. He has been Dan’s “go
to” horse on the forest allotment the past two summers and the one Dan
has done the majority of the doctoring on, yet our little 9-year-old daughter
can also crawl on and ride him all over the mountain with total confi dence.
Hercules is a nice traveler for such a big horse. He walks out good and is
very comfortable to ride. Super sure footed and has been used in extremely tough country, so he
has lots of experience picking his way through sticky situations. We have branded lots of calves
on Hercules and he fi ts any level. He is happy to ease around and be slow, or he can pick up the
pace and rope rapid and on a short rope either. We have even team roped on him some. He is
the solid type that is happy to try whatever we throw at him. Never gets worried or silly. He will
ride away from the other horses willingly, go anywhere you ask, and has a great work ethic. He
has put in countless big days and knows it is expected of him, yet he can stand the prosperity of
a weekend trail rider as well. True blue roan and shapely like a quarter horse, just big and feather footed too! Stands
16.2 hands high and could sure weigh 1500 lbs. When we have inexperienced family visit this is the one we dare let
them ride. He will keep you safe and remain compliant even when he feels your inexperience. Hercules turns heads
and gets noticed everywhere we go. Everyone falls in love with his looks and kind demeanor. Ride him bareback in
the lake, lope circles in the arena, or lead a pack string to the highest mountain peak, he is content to fi t any discipline
you might ask of him. Polite to shoe, bath, stand tied quiet, load, haul next to mares, etc. Gets along with other horses
running in a herd and is easy to catch. Friendly and loves to be loved on!
