An own son of Shining Lil Nic and out of daughter of Nitro Dual Doc,
Nick is an all-around favorite and one of our best cover models! He is
an NRCHA $$ winner and hands down one of the most FUN all-around
geldings we have ever had. He will run a full reined cow horse pattern
bridleless and then hop on him bareback and spin, slide stop or lope off into the
sunset. Nick looks like he just stepped off a Western movie set with his handsome
good looks. He can lie down and sit and have the ability to shoot not only a pistol
but a rifl e at the same time with no hands on the reins. Mr. Go-To whether it is in
the branding pen, show pen, working cow horse arena, leading a dude string down
the trails, packing the tube out of the river, ranch cutting, ranch riding, team roping
(heading and heeling) or carrying the American fl ag at the rodeo – he has done it all
many times over. In and out of the arena he is one you will be glad to have in your
barn! A superb heel horse that is good in the box, stays fl at with plenty of speed and
a deep stop. Mr. Reliable on the trails. He crosses water, bridges and logs with ease
plus rides bareback and bridleless. Great in groups of horses; does not get bothered
about what the other horses are doing and rides off alone with no worries. Nick has
an incredible disposition and with his performance background it is no surprise that
he has a great neck rein, lopes pretty collected circles, nice lead changes, can really
read a cow and is smooth, smooth, smooth! Nick is cute as a button, with a huge hip,
a lot of bone and good withers. He is the perfect size. He has been a staple to our
program, and we hate to see him go. We know whoever buys Nick will enjoy him
